Mr. LI Hailin Was Elected Vice President of the 7th Council of Shanghai Cost Research Society
On April 12, 2018, the General Meeting of the 7th Council of Shanghai Cost Research Society was solemnly held in Antai College of Economics & Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Members, supervisors and leading members of the 7th Council of Shanghai Cost Research Society were elected at the meeting. Mr. LI Hailin, the president of DDI Group, was elected vice president of the 7th Council of Shanghai Cost Research Society.
Shanghai Cost Research Society was founded in November 1982 and has successively been affiliated to Shanghai Municipal Finance Bureau and Shanghai Municipal State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and other units and organizations. Since the establishment, it has been organizing the members to actively engage in the theoretical research of cost management and been committed to improving their theoretical level and professional skills, holding various academic activities, popularizing the basic cost management knowledge and studying the theory and experience of domestic and foreign cost management, thus helping enterprises to properly manage costs, promote the increase of economic benefits and become more competitive in the market.
On January 5, 2018, Shanghai Federation of Social Science Associations issued the document “Approval on Candidates for New Leaders of Shanghai Cost Research Society” to agree Shanghai Cost Research Society to carry out the general election and hold the general meeting.
The new council consists of 41 members from state-owned enterprises, financial institutions and research institutions. Under the leadership of Shanghai Federation of Social Science Associations, the support of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the guidance of Antai College of Economics & Management and its Liberal Arts Construction Department and with the effort of the new council and leaders, Shanghai Cost Research Society will always adhere to the correct political orientation and association principles and organize staff, scholars and experts of cost management to actively study and carry out activities involving micro and macro cost management, project research, business training, scientific popularization and consulting services, etc. The council will continue to strengthen academic research and exchange, intensify researches on special topics, enhance professional radiation functions for service-oriented society, improve comprehensive supporting functions for service-oriented enterprises and upgrade the interactive platform function for service-oriented members.
