Green Supply Chain White List Was Published, and DDI Joined the Green Relay
On June 5th, 2017, the World Environment Day, the Fifth SEE Green Future Forum & the Seventh SEE Ecology Award Ceremony was held in Beijing.
The “SEE Green Future Forum”, sponsored by the Alxa SEE and various forces and originated on the 2012 World Environment Day, has become an important idea-exchange platform for Chinese entrepreneurs to participate in the green economy transition. The Forum of this year was themed on “Green Relay, Make the World Take a Deep Breath” and once again gathered a group of cross-border leaderships. DDI (one of the first batch of 48 real estate and affiliated enterprises) launched the green relay together with the environmental pioneers and looked forward to the green economy.
Under the cultivation of members of the Green Supply Chain Action Committee, the Green Supply Chain Action has grown from a “small tree” into a “big tree”. The Forum published the latest “Green Supply Chain White List”, involving five categories of steel, cement, aluminum, glass, paint and wood, specifically including:

l The first batch “White List of Chromium-free Deactivation for Aluminum Alloy (Draft)”
l The first batch “White List of Wood Products Formaldehyde Control (Draft)”
l The second batch “White List of Legalization of Wood Sources (Draft)”
l The second batch “White List of Plan on Heavy Pollution Emission Control (steel, cement) (Draft)”
Up to now, 89 real estate enterprises has responded and joined. In 2016, these enterprises made the total sales of nearly 1.9 trillion RMB, accounting for about 17% of the total amount of the industry, which involved more than 2000 enterprises related to the industry chain. They promised to administrative their own supply chains and adhere to green procurement under the common procurement guidelines and action programs. From the sources of the materials, production process and terminal consumption, they have greened the entire supply chain and improved environmental benefits and resources utilization, so as to undertake their own responsibility for social development and environmental protection.
The Forum commended 32 enterprises which has actively cooperated with the industry green standards, and consciously enhanced the environmental performance of the enterprise in the "Green Supply Chain Action" of 2016.
DDI has always been focusing on the ecological environment construction, to build green homes with practical action. DDI has not only actively adopted the new energy-saving emission reduction technology in the architectural design, but also positively responded to the national call of "Green, Environmental Protection, and Low Carbon”.
In the future, DDI will also actively participate in the “Green Supply Chain Action” and promise to administrative our own supply chains and adhere to green procurement under the common procurement guidelines and action programs. From the sources of the materials, production process and terminal consumption, DDI will green the entire supply chain and improve environmental benefits and resources utilization, so as to open the implementation and practice of green economy transition.
